Development notes · Field note 01

Conditions should change decisions, not just colors.

A Mosslight Meadow day can look welcoming and still ask you to rethink the route home.

The current work is focused on conditions that alter what the player can read, how the meadow moves, and which risks feel worth taking before sunset.

Thick Fog

Less information, clearer choices.

Thick Fog narrows the visible meadow around the Scout. The aim is not to hide everything; it is to make nearby landmarks, creatures, and sunseeds matter more while the rest of the route remains uncertain.

Creature behavior

The meadow should react differently each day.

Creature families are being tuned around distinct movement and pursuit behavior. The important part is not simply having more creatures on screen, but making the player recognize what each family changes about a familiar clearing.
